Fingerhut Store Credit Card

Apply for Fingerhut first.

If you read posts in some of the credit repair forums, the Fingerhut card is the usual first stop for obtaining credit. Their store credit card is very easy to get. People with damaged or bad credit will often be approved for their line of credit. Like all credit cards featured on this website, there is no annual fee.

They will usually start you with a credit line of $500 or less. The only disadvantage to this credit card is it can only be used at the Fingerhut website. Even if you never plan on buying something from Fingerhut, you should still apply for this line of credit, if only to increase your total available credit (across all credit accounts), and decrease your credit utilization.
